Bashkiria’s primary housing market is ahead of the secondary one on prices rates - statistics
The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency analyzed quarterly price changes at the republican housing market in 2013. The primary market prices rose higher rates than the secondary market prices.
Thus, the average cost per square metre of housing under construction in the fourth quarter amounted to 49.6 thousand rubles across the republic – by 9.9 percent more than the comparable figure of 2012. In the secondary market the price per square metre increased by 6.9 percent in the same period - to 53.2 thousand rubles.
During the year, the prices in this segment grew unevenly. The maximum increase was recorded in the first quarter – by 2.9 per cent in the primary market (to 46.4 thousand rubles per square metre) and by 3.4 percent in the secondary market (to 51.4 thousand rubles), compared with the previous quarter. The minimum price increase during the year was recorded in the second quarter – by 1.4 (to 47.1 thousand rubles per square metre) and by 0.5 percent (to 51.7 thousand rubles), respectively.
