UMPO innovators saved for a year 33.2 million rubles

The economic effect of innovations introduction at JSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" (UMPO) amounted to 33.2 million rubles in 2013. As the press service of the association informs, for a year 2293 rationalization proposals were received from employees, 60 percent of them were successfully introduced into production.

As the department of intellectual property of the company reports, efficiency of rationalization activities increased by 4 percent at UMPO for a year.

The greatest economic effect was reached due to the idea of employees of the chief metallurgist department: modernization of measuring equipment saved more than 3.5 million rubles for the association.

JSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" is the Russian largest manufacturer of aircraft engines. It is engaged in design, manufacture, service and repair of turbojet engines and pumping units, production and repairs of helicopters. It is included in the United Engine Corporation, which 100 percent stake is held by United Industrial Corporation "Oboronprom".
