Loan debts for a year increased by 40.5 percent in Bashkortostan

Debts on ruble loans issued to individuals by credit institutions in Bashkortostan as of December 1, 2013 are estimated in the sum of 249,058 million rubles. This is by 40.5 percent more compared to December 1, 2012, according to the materials on the website of the Bank of Russia. Housing loans delinquencies grow at the same rate - from 44 790 million rubles to 63 198 million rubles, or 41 percent for a year. While overdue indebtedness decreased slightly - from 452 to 442 million rubles.
Loans in foreign currency enjoy less popularity among residents of the republic. Debts on such loans as of December 1, 2013 amounted to 722 million rubles, falling by 6.8 percent.
