Bashkortostan Republic and JSC "Russian Railways" signed a cooperation agreement for three years

An agreement on cooperation in the field of railway transportation between the Republic of Bashkortostan and JSC "Russian Railways" for 2014-2016 is concluded, according to the website of the Kuibyshev Railway. The document was signed by the head of the Kuibyshev Railway Sergey Solozhenkin and the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rauf Nugumanov.

The document aims to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in development of the republic and the Development Strategy of Railway Transport of the Russian Federation until 2030.

In the document a particular attention is paid to reconstruction and modernization of stations with the arrangement of adjacent areas, including creation on their basis of transport hubs in Ufa, Beloretsk, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Tuimazy, and Aksakovo settlement.

Also it is provided joint participation in the project "Urban train" on the route Deoma-Ufa- Shaksha with multimodal transport hubs organisation.
