Real wages in Bashkortostan for the year grew by 3.4 percent - to 22 470.4 rubles in October

Average nominal monthly wages of employees of republican enterprises and organizations in October amounted to 22 470.4 rubles per month, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. The statistics cover both large and medium-sized companies and small businesses.

In nominal terms, wages rose by 9.5 percent compared to the level of October 2012, in real terms - by 3.4 percent.

Statistics determine the average nominal accrued wages as the ratio of accrued payroll of employees to the number of employees. The real wage index shows changes in purchasing power of wages to changes in the consumer price index. It is determined by dividing the index of nominal wages to the consumer price index.
