About half of the planned New Year’s trees are prepared in Bashkiria

In Bashkortostan of the planned 220 thousand New Year’s trees - firs, pines and silver firs today more than 104 thousand green beauties are prepared, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Forestry Aibulat Gainullin informs.

The largest number of New Year’s trees - 20 thousand items is traditionally prepared by employees of state unitary enterprises "Beloretsky forest", "Tuymazinsky forest" and "Zilairsky forest".

The recommended by the Forestry Ministry RB selling wholesale price is 250 rubles for a fir tree, 210 for a pine and 300 for a silver fir. Thus the companies have the right to set their own selling prices depending on the situation in the market.

Under existing regulations, trees intended for the New Year celebration, are logged strictly in certain places. For example, it is allowed at places where it is necessary to carry out the so-called improvement felling, at glades, along fireproof breaks, under power lines, etc.

In addition, logging for the holiday is conducted in the forest tree nurseries, the press service of the Ministry of Forestry explains.
