Bashneft to pay out interim dividends of more than 45 billion rubles before the end of the year

A decision to pay dividends for the nine months of 2013 amounting to 199 roubles per ordinary share and per preferred share of the company was taken by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Bashneft shareholders. The meeting was held yesterday by absentee voting.

About 45.25 billion roubles will be directed for interim dividends payment before the end of 2013.

By results of 2012 Bashneft shareholders received dividends of 24 rubles per share. Their payment was completed in August. 5,32 billion rubles were directed for this purpose.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders also approved a new version of the Regulations on Remuneration and Compensations Payable to the Members of the Board of Directors of JSOC Bashneft. The new version of the Regulations had to be approved due to an increase in the workload of independent Board members, including serving on the new Project Assurance Committee of the Board of Directors. The Committee considers findings from expert reviews of large capital projects of Bashneft and its subsidiaries and develops practical recommendations for the Board in this sphere.
