Bashkir honey will be supplied to the Kingdom of Bahrain

A visit of the official delegation of Bashkortostan Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain finished. During the visit, a presentation of the agricultural complex of Bashkortostan at the Chamber of Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain was conducted.
As the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB explains, the interest of this Arab country to agricultural products of Bashkortostan is quite obvious. The country imports more than 99 percent of food commodities.
Possibilities to supply livestock, grain, powdered milk and honey from Bashkortostan were discussed at the presentation. Particular attention was paid to the availability of products certification according to halal standards.
Moreover, the prospects of creating joint ventures on food processing and their subsequent export to Arab countries in Bashkortostan were discussed there too.
During the negotiations, it was agreed to organize supplies of Bashkir honey and honey products to the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as to elaborate economically projects in the field of sheep breeding, dairy farming and crop production.
In the near future a return visit of Arab businessmen to the Republic of Bashkortostan for continued cooperation is planned, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB reports.
