Average unemployment benefit is 3911 rubles in Bashkortostan
In Bashkortostan, an average unemployment benefit amounted to 3911 rubles in November 2013, or 57 percent of the minimum living wage for able-bodied population.
For comparison, in October, the average size of such benefit was equal to 3878 rubles.
While the share of unemployment benefit recipients in the minimum amount (977.5 rubles) was 29 percent, the maximum amount (5635 rubles) - 45 percent, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB informs. Recall that the minimum living wage for able-bodied population now stands at 6897 rubles.
During 11 months of 2013 the status of unemployed was received by about 45.7 thousand people in the republic. Currently 22.6 thousand unemployed are registered in the Employment Service. 43 percent of them are rural residents.
As of December 1, 2013, the regional average of registered unemployment was 1.11 percent. Enterprises and organizations of Bashkortostan announced about availability of 288.6 thousand vacancies from the beginning of 2013. As of December 1, the republican jobs bank included information about 33.7 thousand jobs.
80 percent of them were blue-collar jobs, 87 percent with wages above the minimum living wage.
An intensity factor or the ratio of unemployed to the number of vacancies was 0.7 over the republic. Thus, in the cities of Bashkortostan this figure was 0.6, in the capital - 0.5, in rural areas - 1.3.
