Winners of "Paper Boom" ecological campaign will be awarded in Ufa

On December 13, the Ministry of Nature and Ecology of Bashkortostan will held a ceremony summarizing environmental campaign on waste paper collection "Paper Boom - Autumn 2013" dedicated to the Year of the Environment Protection.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the event will include a festive closing of the campaign, a concert and awarding ceremony of schools-winners, which are already defined in each district of Ufa depending on the amount of waste paper collected.

This year the city environmental campaign on waste paper collection "Paper Boom" took place in Ufa schools from October 7 to December 1.

The main objective of the annual event is to form ecological culture of people, to promote ideas of efficient use of resources, as well as improving the environment and maintaining cleanliness in the Bashkir capital.

Recall that the same day, on December 13, the Ministry of Ecology of Bashkortostan will summarize the competitions announced during the Year of the Environment Protection.

Early in the year it was announced several competitions in the republic: "Best Company of the Bashkortostan Republic", "Best Scientific Work in the Field of Ecology", " Best Municipality of Bashkortostan", "Ecomig - Bashkortostan" (photo competition) , as well as a competition among the media for the best coverage of environmental topics.
