57 companies received the right to label their products with "Product of Bashkortostan" trademark

The right to label their products with "Product of Bashkortostan" trademark was received by 57 enterprises.

“Among the winners of the "Product of Bashkortostan" program are manufacturers of horse meat, dairy products, meat products, mineral water and soft drinks, honey and baked goods, as well as poultry producers” said the spokesman of the State Committee on Trade and Consumer Rights RB Diana Masagutova.

Since the beginning of the republican project about 3,000 items of food have been tested. 1065 of them may be labeled with "Product of Bashkortostan" trademark.

Applications of more than 40 enterprises of the republic were rejected because they "for some indicators did not meet the requirements of the project," the department informs.

The "Product of Bashkortostan" trademark indicates that the food commodities are produced in the republic and comply with the legislation in the field of quality and food safety.

Only those manufacturers, who produce food in Bashkortostan from local raw materials, are allowed to participate in the project. It is not supposed to mark with this sign alcoholic beverages including beer.

Compliance of the products claiming the trademark is tested at laboratories for their organoleptic and physico-chemical parameters.

Republican manufacturers have an opportunity to apply electronically for this trademark on the "Product of Bashkortostan" website.
