Sukhoi Superjet aircraft will be served in Ufa

A Technical Centre for servicing aircrafts of "Sukhoi Superjet 100" type is created on the basis of Ufa Airport. The tripartite agreement between the Government of Bashkortostan, the UTair airline and CJSC "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" was signed in Ufa on December 5.
The agreement provides a long-term lease of the hangar, where previously Tu- 134 was served, five parking places for aircrafts on favourable terms. Maintenance specialists will be prepared at Ufa specialized schools. It is also assumed under the terms of the document that the production of components and assemblies will be located at the machine-building enterprises of Bashkortostan.
UTair-Express LLC will be the main carrier. Six aircrafts "Sukhoi Superjet-100" will be available to the airline in mid-2014, they have already received funding and are on the assembly line.
“Signing of the agreement can be considered a breakthrough for the Ufa International Airport, the national industry and residents of Bashkiria,” the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov said.
From the Ufa airport it is planned to expand its route network to joint international resort destinations (Turkey, Egypt), to resume flights to the resorts of Russia (Sochi, Anapa, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik), as well as regular flights to Nizhnevartovsk, Khujand and increase the number of flights to Moscow, Novy Urengoy, Tyumen, Tel Aviv.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) is a 100-seat aircraft designed, developed and manufactured by JSC "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" with the participation of Alenia Aermacchi.
To date, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 is operated in the "Aeroflot", "Yakutia" (the largest carrier in the Russian Far East), "Moscoviya", Sky Aviation (Indonesia), Lao Central (Laos) and Interjet (Mexico). Until the end of 2013 it is planned to supply «SSJ100» for "Aeroflot" and "Gazprom avia" ( Russia ), Sky Aviation ( Indonesia ), Interjet ( Mexico).
