16.5 thousand jobless Ufa townspeople were employed with the help of the Employment Service

Since the beginning of 2013 more than 16.5 thousand unemployed Ufa townspeople found jobs with assistance of the Employment Service. More than 1.8 thousand people were sent by the Employment Service to free training and retraining to the trades in demand in the labour market.

As Bashinform News Agency was informed at Ufa Employment Centre - youth labor exchange, since the beginning of this year, about 12.5 thousand Ufa residents received the status of unemployed. More than 13.7 thousand unemployed were struck off the register for this period.

Currently, the unemployment rate is 1.11 percent in the Bashkir capital.

Total over 6.7 thousand people are registered in the capital employment service.

Meanwhile the city job bank now contains the information about 13 thousand jobs, for which more than 6.2 thousand of officially registered unemployed may apply. Accordingly, the ratio of intensity, or the ratio of unemployed to the number of vacancies is 0.52 in Ufa.
