Regional operator will be engaged in major repairs of apartment buildings in Bashkortostan

The non-profit organization - the "The regional operator of Bashkortostan Republic" Foundation - formed in accordance with the July Decision of the Government RB "On establishment of a specialized non-profit organization engaged in activities aimed at ensuring the timely major repairs of the common property in apartment buildings" began operating in Bashkortostan.

The new structure is designed to speed up the pace of repairs in the republic through the effective management of public contributions and budgetary resources that will be provided to the Foundation as co-financing.

Tenants of apartment buildings have to determine the method of collecting payments for the major repairs until the end of the year. They can accumulate funds on a special personal account, and can direct them to a centralized system and make contributions to the account of regional operators. The Foundation can spend these means only for the intended purpose - to carry out major repairs. The succession will be determined by the date of the last repairs and collection of contributions from tenants.

The contribution sum will be determined on the basis of the federal methodology. According to preliminary estimates, it will be five rubles per square meter of floor area a month.

It is the state budget which is fixed with costs of the Foundation maintaining.
