Bashkiria is in the sixth place on sales of new passenger cars in Russia

Bashkortostan entered the TOP-10 of Russian regions in terms of sales of new passenger cars in January -September 2013 and took the sixth place with 71000 cars. The results of statistical studies are presented in the materials by "Autostat" auto analytical agency.

For nine months, the country has sold 1.93 million new passenger cars, which is 5.7 percent less than in the same period of the last year (2.05 million cars).

Moscow and Moscow region are traditionally the leaders - 275.2 thousand and 156.5 thousand new cars, respectively. The top five also included St. Petersburg (104900) , Tatarstan (91500) and Krasnodar (74000).

Bashkortostan taken the sixth position (71000 cars) is ahead of the TOP-10 Samara (64300), Sverdlovsk (63500), Rostov (54800) and Chelyabinsk Region (49000).

Bashkortostan is in the lead on the relative indicator in the TOP-10. In seven of ten listed regions sales of new cars are down this year by 0.8 - 11.3 percent compared with the same period in 2012, but our republic showed sales growth by 4.1 percent.
