133,000 pensioners will be recipients of federal social benefits in Bashkortostan

More than 133 thousand republican pensioners will be recipients of federal social payments to the pension in the new size since January 1, 2014. Of these, about 9,000 people will become eligible for federal surcharge for the first time, the press service of the Pension Fund RB informs.

This kind of benefits was set to pensioners from January 1, 2010. The size of social benefits for each pensioner is individual and depends on how much the total amount of his financial security is below the minimum living wage. In 2014, the minimum living wage for pensioners will make 6070 rubles.

For 10 months of the current year expenses for social payments from the federal budget amounted to 1 billion 345 million rubles. The average sum of surcharge was 1,310 rubles.
