Living wage per capita reached 7,372 rubles in Russia

The Russian government has set the living wage for the second quarter of 2013. Thus, the minimum living wage per capita is 7372 rubles, and for the able-bodied population - 7941 rubles, pensioners - 6043 rubles, children - 7104 rubles. In the first quarter of this year, it was 7095, 7633, 5828 and 6859 rubles, respectively, according to the website of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Bashkortostan.
A living wage is the cost estimate of the minimum food and non-food goods and services essential for human health and ensuring its vital functions.
It also includes mandatory fees and charges. The living wage is used, in particular, to support established at the federal level, the minimum wage, the size of grants, allowances and other social benefits.
