100 days before Olympics in Sochi commemorative hundred-ruble notes are issued into circulation

On October 30, the Bank of Russia has issued a 100 rubles banknote, dedicated to the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.

According to the press service of the Bank of Russia, a circulation of commemorative banknotes is 20 million copies.

A vertically oriented image of a flying snowboarder is made on the banknote coloured in blue tones.

Banknotes will be in free circulation throughout Russia.
