Share of unprofitable enterprises increased by two percent in Bashkortostan for a year

The share of loss-making large and medium-sized enterprises of the republic in January- August constituted 19.7 percent compared to 17.7 percent for the same period in 2012, according to Bashkortostanstat. 282 of 1,434 large and medium-sized enterprises are unprofitable. Thus statistics record reduction in their losses by 45.2 percent for the year.

The largest losses are reported in the manufacturing sector (4 billion rbl.), in generation and supply of electricity, gas and water ( 2.2 billion rbl.), in real estate operations, renting and services rendering (1.2 billion rbl.), wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles, motorcycles, household goods and goods for personal use ( 803,5 mln rbl.).
