JSOC Bashneft increased oil extraction by 3.2%

JSOC Bashneft during the period from January through September 2013, increased oil production at the Company’s fields by 3.2% to 11,900 thousand tons, compared to the same period in 2012.

It is marked in the Company’s materials that positive trends were provided by “highly efficient geological and engineering operations at brownfields in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the start of pilot production at the R. Trebs and A. Titov fields in the Nenets Autonomous District, where the Company produced 120 thousand tons of oil in August and September 2013.”

For nine months 2013 Bashneft’s refining complex in Ufa processed 16,053 thousand tons of oil, which is 4.3% more than in the same period in 2012, related to an increase in oil production in Bashkortostan. In January-September 2013, refining depth averaged 85.4%, and the share of light products rose to 60.4%.

The output of commodities at Ufa Bashneft’s refineries amounted to 14,772 thousand tons for nine months 2013 and added 5% year-on-year. Gasoline production increased by 3.4%, while diesel fuel production rose by 5.2%.
