Average monthly salary in Bashkortostan - 21,753.1 rubles

In Bashkortostan, according to preliminary monthly estimates, in January- September 2013, real disposable income increased by 3.6 percent compared to the same period of the last year. The average cash income was formed on average in the amount of 21,679.4 rubles per month, according to territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service on Bashkortostan.
Thus, the average monthly salary accrued to employees of enterprises in January- August 2013, amounted to 21,753.1 rubles in the republic. In real terms, taking into account consumer price index it is by 4.9 percent higher than in January - August last year.
According to the Pension Fund RB, the number of pensioners constituted 1097.9 thousand people (27 percent of the population) as of October 1, 2013. The average size of pensions reached 9,462.7 rubles per month.
Meanwhile, in Bashkortostan a number of economically active population according to the employment survey based on techniques of the International Labour Organization (ILO) amounted to 1983.1 thousand people in January - September this year.
In January - September 2013, 76.9 thousand residents of Bashkortostan addressed to the Republican Employment Service for jobs seeking.
Of these, 70.9 percent of people found jobs through employment services (in January -September 2012, respectively, 88.4 thousand people and 72.6 percent).
As of October 1, employment agencies registered 22.7 thousand people as unemployed that is by six percent lower compared to the level of 2012.
The unemployment rate was 1.1 percent of the economically active population. According to statistics, the educational level of unemployment remains high. The majority or 76.6 percent of total number of registered unemployed had professional education.
However, a number of job openings from employers submitted to the employment service decreased in the region.
Thus, as of October 1 this year the need for workers was 40.6 thousand, that is by seven percent less than a year ago.
Of the total number of vacancies 81.4 percent were accounted for blue-collar jobs. The largest number of jobs have been received during this time from construction companies (23.8 percent), industrial companies (19.3 percent), trading companies (12.1 percent), educational institutions (8.3 percent), agriculture and forestry companies (7.7 percent).
