Ufa schoolchildren have collected 125 tons of paper for recycling

Ufa schoolchildren have collected 125 tons of waste paper during the ecological event «Paper Boom», the Ecoportal of Bashkortostan informs.

The event overall objective is to form ecological culture of inhabitants, bring up careful relation to environment, popularise ideas of efficient use of resources, and also to improve environment and cleanliness maintenance in Ufa.

It should be mentioned that this year the city event on gathering paper for recycling «Paper Boom» started at Ufa schools on October 7. The organizer of nature protection event is «Ecology RB» LLC of Group of Companies «Clean City», at support of Ufa administration and Education Directorate.

«Paper Boom-2013» will last in Ufa till the middle of December.

In 2013 115 schools became participants of «Paper Boom». For comparison: one year ago 93 schools of Bashkir capital participated in the event on waste paper gathering.
