22,7 thousand of officially registered unemployed are in Bashkiria

About 236 thousand people addressed to Bashkortostan employment service for various state services in January-September, 2013.

As it is informed on the information webportal of the Ministry of Labour RB, in Bashkortostan there were more than 22,7 thousand officially registered unemployed as of October 1, current year. Level of registered unemployment equaled 1,11 percent in the region.

From the beginning of 2013 due to assistance of employment service over 54,5 thousand inhabitants of our republic have found jobs. More than 5,2 thousand unemployed have started free vocational training in employment centres for this time.

Total from the beginning of year over 37,5 thousand people have been recognised as unemployed in the republic.

For the first nine months 2013 the information about 248,8 thousand available jobs has arrived to the republican jobs bank. As of the beginning of October the number of official vacancies made about 40,6 thousand.

The intensity factor, or ratio of unoccupied people to number of available jobs was equal 0,6 as of October 1.

According to population surveys on employment problems, on average for June-August, 2013, number of economically active population of Bashkortostan have made 1960,2 thousand people.

Number of unemployed people according to standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) was 105,6 thousand people.

Level of general unemployment under ILO standards made 5,4 percent.

Meanwhile a living wage of able-bodied population has reached 6848 rbl. in Bashkortostan. The average salary made 21840,5 roubles in the republic in July, 2013.
