Consumer price index is 99,9 percent in Bashkiria in September

The consumer price index for goods and services made 99,9 percent in Bashkortostan in September. From the beginning of year the general price index has developed at the level of 104,3 percent, since September, 2012 – 105,9 percent, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency materials.

Insignificant decrease in the general price level in the republic in September is provided by considerably fallen in price — by 14,4 percent — fruit-and-vegetable production, including potatoes. As a result the food price index as a whole has appeared at the level of 99,2 percent. According to statisticians, without considering fruit-and-vegetable products the prices for foodstuffs grew by 0,9 percent in the republic in September.

The nonfoods price index developed at the level of 100,3 percent in September, services price index – 100,1 percent.
