In Bashkiria the All-Russia event «Live, forest!» will be held on October 5

As part of the Year of Environment Protection, the scale event «Live, Forest!» is held for attraction of special attention to problems of forest reserves restoration in Russia.

The Federal Forestry Agency (Rosleskhoz) acts as an initiator of carrying out the All-Russia event at support and direct participation of regional authorities, ecologically responsible entrepreneurs and volunteers.

In Bashkortostan the «Live, Forest!» event will take place in all regions of the republic on Saturday, October 5.

It should be marked that in some regions of Russia the event started in the beginning of September. At the same time, in a number of regions "green" events will last till the end of October.

Thus, as part of «Live, Forest!» events planting of young trees will be organised. Besides, clearing of forest from waste will be spent.

Also meetings with schoolchildren, public lectures and exhibitions devoted to preservation of Russian forests will take place. Territories of monuments, memorials and schools will be accomplished.

In the spring of 2013 hundreds of thousands of Russians answered the Rosleshoz call to restore forests damaged by fires and pest outbreak. The event then united more than 700 thousand people. The total area of plantings made almost 30 thousand hectares.
