Three commercial dairy farms are put in operation in Bashkiria as part of "500 farms" program

In Bashkiria three commercial dairy farms first in 2013 are put into operation as part of the republican complex program of "500 farms". Two of them belong to LLC "Plemzavod Lenin" of Dyurtyulinsky region and are located near Sukkulovo and Yukalekulovo villages.

Reconstruction of another farm — «Kuibyshev’s Collective Farm» is finished near Nizhnecherekulevo village of Ilishevsky region, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs.

As the chairman of the reception committee, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture RB Flaris Shaihetdinov marked, during «500 farms» program realisation 53 commercial dairy farms are reconstructed and technologically updated for the sum of more than three billion rbl. in the republic. For incomplete two years farms have purchased over three thousand highly productive cattle. From them more than 2,1 thousand cattle were bought in 2012, 900 cattle — in 2013.

Besides, thanks to the program realised now in the region it has been purchased about 570 units of machinery and equipment for the sum of 290 million rbl.

As the Ministry press-service informs, for today 125 commercial dairy farms and one enterprise on creation breeding services are participants of the «500 farms» republican target-oriented program.

Since spring last year, from the beginning of the program implementation, 7000 cattle stalls with optimum conditions for livestock keeping have been created in Bashkiria.

This year works for creation of 39 thousand cattle stalls more are spent in cattle-breeding premises of the republic.

Today 32 thousand cows or six percent of total cows livestock of the republic are kept at the farms included in the program. They make 138 thousand tons of milk, or 11 percent of republican volume. Thus an average milk yield per cow at these farms exceeds an average republican indicator by 25 percent.
