Five large investment projects were approved by governmental commission for support rendering in Bashkiria

The governmental commission has unanimously approved support of five large investment projects to be realised in the territory of Bashkortostan.

With attraction of a private investor’s means it is planned to construct a regional highway Sterlitamak — Kaga — Magnitogorsk, and also new east road out of Ufa to the federal highway М-5 "Ural".

The republic will support other three investment projects with preferential taxation. Tax privileges will be received by LLC «PGU heat power plant-5» on construction of combined cycle gas turbine, JSC "UMPO" on creation and development of the 117С engine manufacture for planes Su-35/Su-35S, and also LLC «MD Project 2010» on construction of perinatal centre for 95 beds in Ufa.

According to the President RB Rustem Khamitov, all projects have successfully passed investment examination.

The President marked that for two years of the commission work 24 investment projects had been considered, 13 of them had received state support in the form of tax privileges and grants.

At present, according to the President RB, companies — initiators of 80 large projects formed an investment portfolio for the total cost of about 500 billion rbl. More than 110 projects are at different stages of implementation with cumulative cost of more than 700 billion rbl.

The next meeting of the governmental commission is planned for October. According to the Deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB Evgeniy Mavrin, projects of JSC «Gazprom neftehim Salavat», and also tourism projects, recycling of solid household waste and a number of others projects are prepared for it.
