Bashkortostan farmers have gathered more than 1,7 million tons of grain

Bashkir farmers have collected 1,730 million tons of grain of a new crop.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, the considerable contribution to republican yield was made by farmers of Sterlitamaksky (121,8 thousand tons), Chekmagushevsky (104,5) and Meleuzovsky (101,6) regions.

As a whole over the republic barley is now harvested on the area of 277,6 thousand hectares, oats — on 114,8 thousand hectares, peas — on 41,1 thousand hectares, wheat — on 334,58 thousand hectares.

At present farmers of seven areas finished barley harvesting. In 12 regions oats gathering is finished, in 26 — peas.

Grain, grain legumes and oil crops, except sunflower are cut so far on the area of 1224 thousand hectares. Threshing is finished on the area of 1208 thousand hectares, the agrarian department of the region informs.
