Agency for Investments Attraction is created in Bashkiria

«Agency for Investments Attraction» state-owned autonomous institution RB is created in Bashkortostan by the order of the Government of the republic.

As the Ministry of Economic Development RB informs, the agency activity is focused on scientific support of various measures on investment initiatives maintenance, on increase of competitiveness and level of social and economic development of the region.

Rustem Khamitov, the head of the republic announced about an intention to create a specialised agency for investments attraction at the meeting of the Public Council on Investment Climate Improvement under the President RB in June.

The Ministry of Economic Development RB was granted powers of the founder of the agency.

According to the Minister of Economic Development RB Alexander Maryin, the Agency for Investments Attraction will be «a consolidated state operator for promoting regional investment projects».

For today a charter of the new body and supervisory board structure are being formed now.
