I Congress of press-services of PFO nature protection departments will take place in Bashkiria

In Ufa the I Congress of the press-service representatives of nature protection departments of PFO (Volga Federal District) will take place on August 21 and 22.

Besides representatives of the press-services, journalists of federal and republican editions, experts in the field of ecological journalism will also take part in its work.

“Congress is one of key actions of the Year of Environment Protection in Bashkortostan,” Nina Nikandrova, the press-secretary of the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB underlined. “It is focused on exchanging experience in the sphere of public authorities with mass media collaboration.”

The Congress program includes a round-table conference devoted to perfection of work of press-services of nature protection departments, with participation of the leading Russian and international experts, and also a media tour over the territory of «Bashkir Ural» biosphere reserve included in the List of UNESCO World heritage.

As the press-service of the republican Ministry of Ecology informs, issues of ecological projects promotion will be discussed at the round-table conference. The best PR technologies and a format of ecological information presentation will be also considered there.
