Banca Intesa lended a credit to JSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" totalling 70 million US dollars

Banca Intesa issued loan funds to JSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" in the sum of 70 million US dollars for investment program implementation. The funds are allocated under the terms of renewed three-year revolving credit line opened by the bank for the enterprise.

Dmitry Teplinsky, Chief Financial Officer of JSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" marked: "We are glad to cooperate with Banca Intesa again. Banca Intesa was one of the leading arrangers of the large-scale pre-export financing received in 2010. The attracted funds will be applied to pursue the Company’s investment program during the next 3 years".

Alexander Shcherbatov, the Director, Head of Large Corporates and Multinationals of Banca Intesa underlined in his turn: "We appreciate the longstanding cooperation with JSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat". Since 2004 we are efficiently interacting with the Company both within banking syndicates, as well as bilaterally. Without exaggeration, the Company is the pride of the Russian petrochemical industry. Under the Company’s investment program we are ready to suggest a further mutual cooperation in lending with the involvement of an export credit agency on Italian equipment purchasing”.
