Sowing of winter crops has begun on separate areas in a number of regions of Bashkortostan.
As Bashinform News Agency was informed by the head of the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB Lyaisan Hairetdinova, today these works are conducted by farmers of 33 regions of the republic. So far a basis for future crops is laid on the area of 13 thousand hectares that makes two percent of the planned.
Among regions where sowing of winter crops is already started are Kuyurgazinsky, Yanaulsky, Birsky, Askinsky and Mishkinsky regions.
At present the Kuyurgazinsky region is one of the leaders in the republic on winter crops sowing. Here it is already sowed about two thousand hectares of areas.
It should be mentioned that in 2013 it is planned to allocate 600 thousand hectares for winter crops in Bashkortostan. It is by 22 percent more than the similar indicators of the last year.
