Number of payments for goods and services by banking cards has grown by 62,4 percent in Bashkiria

The number of transactions on payment of goods and services by banking cards for a year has grown by 62,4 percent in Bashkortostan — from 12,6 million to 20,5 million transactions. The data of the National Bank RB placed on the regulator’s website testify to it as of the beginning of April.

The total sum of such transactions has made almost 14,9 billion rbl., having increased for a year by 43,5 percent.

Much more (by 36,5 percent) electronic terminals accepting banking cards appeared in republican shops: 17,4 thousand items.

The quantity of ATMs grows not so rapidly — by 11,2 percent for a year, to 4 891.

For three months in the territory of Bashkortostan it was emitted almost 5,6 million banking cards — an increase by 26,3 percent compared to the last year.
