It is formed 7,7 thousand m3 of waste in Ufa daily

About 7,7 thousand cubic metres of waste are formed in Ufa daily. For a year 2,9 million m3 of production and consumption waste are collected. The volume of collected refuse grows annually. This year, in comparison with 2012, rate of growth of solid household waste makes 14,2 percent. Such data were given at an action meeting in Ufa mayoralty.

An experiment on separate waste collection was begun in July, last year. In Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Ufa it was organised 20 special container platforms serving more than 122 apartment houses where 20 thousand people live.

In the near future the number of platforms for separate waste collection will be increased to 50.
