Rustem Khamitov has discussed with "RusHydro" representatives the progress of joint projects implementation

The progress of joint projects implementation of Bashkortostan and JSC "RusHydro" was discussed at the meeting of the President RB Rustem Khamitov with Deputy Chairman of the Management Board "RusHydro" George Rizhinashvili on Wednesday.

According to Rustem Khamitov, the parties actively realise plans on construction of energy efficient technologies technopark and a plant on hydropower equipment manufacturing.

“We have big plans. "RusHydro" is a priority partner for us,” underlined the President RB. “Certainly, we will create comfortable business conditions for the company in the republic.”

As George Rizhinashvili told the journalists after the meeting, construction of the plant jointly conducted with the French Alstom company «is completely on the schedule», the first turbine will be made already next year.

“It is spent more than 37 million euro from both partners – "RusHydro"and Alstom Company,” George Rizhinashvili said. “We have completely co-ordinated the list of actions and an activity timetable. In the near future, till the end of July, we will hold a tender for a prime contractor.”

"RusHydro" has some questions to the French party concerning rates of works, but the scheme of interaction the parties will discuss at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum within the next few days.

Also, according to Rizhinashvili, 7-8 large projects in the sphere of energy efficiency, including the project on illumination of Ufa streets are discussed.
