Delegation of Bashkortostan participates in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

The annual International Economic Forum opens in St.-Petersburg. The delegation of Bashkortostan takes part in it including the Deputy Prime-Ministers of the Government RB Evgeniy Mavrin, Dmitry Sharonov and the adviser to the President of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov.

Meetings with the company management «Strategy Partners Group», holding PVG Opensport, AstraZeneca pharmaceutical company, Hevel LLC and Avelar Solar Technology are planned. Representatives of Bashkortostan will take part in the business dialogue "Russia-India" and in the plenary session «Global call for steady economic growth».

By tradition agreements between corporations and regions are signed at the economic forum. In particular, Bashkortostan Republic will sign the memorandum of widening scope of activity with JSC "RusHydro", JSC "RusHydro Bashkortostan Efficiency" and Alstom Holding.

This year the economic forum takes place under the motto «Finding Resolve to Build the New Global Economy». This year Russia presides in «the Group of Twenty», therefore subjects of the forthcoming G20 summit will be discussed also at the forum: stimulation of investments for acceleration of economy growth, management of national debt, reforming the global financial system, sustainable development of power sector markets and world trade strengthening, "RBC" informs.

4,4 thousand participants confirmed their intentions to visit the forum. At the forum key regions of the world will be presented: the BRICS countries, the USA, the European Union, Japan, Arab Emirates — total 89 foreign official delegations. Their structure includes 36 Vice-premiers and Ministers for Foreign Affairs. It is expected participation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.
