It is revealed more than 200 unauthorized disposal fields in Bashkiria

From the beginning of 2013, 237 unauthorized disposal fields with the total area of more than 71 thousand sq. m are revealed in Bashkiria.

“For today it is liquidated over 65 percent, or 156 unauthorized landfills with more than one million cubic metres of waste. Over 100 administrative punishments are imposed on infringers of nature protection legislation,” Nina Nikandrova, the press-secretary of the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB informs.

According to Nina Nikandrova, from the beginning of this year 22 cases of ignition of dumps are registered in the republic. The total burning area exceeded one thousand square metres.

As the representatives of the Ministry of Ecology RB mark, work on revealing of unauthorized disposal fields and their liquidation will be continued in the republic.
