39-ton unit with a remote control will work at Uchalinsky underground mine

The park of loading and haulage equipment of JSC «Uchalinsky GOK» was replenished with Sandvik LH514 unit costing almost 29 million rbl. According to the enterprise, the unit with weight of 39 tons will work at the mine of Uchalinsky deposit. It is intended for working in difficult mining and geological conditions.

As explained by Andrey Avdeev, the head of underground site No.3 of underground transport of Uchalinsky underground mine, by means of this unit it will be possible «to make ore extraction from shrink stoping by means of remote control».
