Six thousand pines will be planted as part of «Let’s help our nature together!» project in Ufa

Just for one day, June 14, six thousand pines will be planted within the limits of the ecological program «Let’s help our nature together!» in the Bashkir capital.

Prior to Ufa similar plantings of trees were spent in Yaroslavl, Nizhni Novgorod, Vladimir, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don and Orekhovo-Zuyevo. In total more than 38 thousand trees were planted in these cities.

Tutta Larsen, the known television and radio presenter, and Sergey Dolya, the photographer, traveller and blogger are facilitators of the program.

As organizers mark, thanks to the event a large forest area near Podymalovo settlement in Ufa will be created, which will separate it from М7 federal highway and will help to improve ecological situation there.

Anyone who wants can become a volunteer of the scale ecological project. On June 14, at 11 o'clock a bus will wait for volunteers and journalists on the square in front of the Sports Palace.

The ecological program «Let’s help our nature together!» is focused on support of the Russian woods. It started in 2011. From the action start it has been planted more than 200 thousand trees in different regions of the country. The program was included into the list «Best social projects of Russia of 2012» in the nomination «Ecological projects and initiatives».
