More than five thousand flights were sent from Ufa International Airport from the beginning of the year

For five months 5128 aircrafts departed from Ufa International Airport, the growth made 11,5 percent in comparison with the similar period of the last year.

The take-off weight made 292091 tons, growth by13 percent. 775153 passengers were served ar the airport, that is by 16,3 percent more than for the same period of the last year.

In May, 2013 Ufa International Airport served 188862 passengers that is by 19 percent more than in May last year.

More than 50 Russian and foreign airlines carry out flights to Ufa Airport, 30 from them on a regular basis. According to the rating of the transport clearing house Ufa Airport took the ninth place among the Russian airports on transportation of passengers on internal and international routes in 2012. By results of work for the first quarter 2013 the enterprise took the eighth place.

In the summer 2013 new airlines plan to carry out flights to Ufa Airport: "Astra" (Greece), on the route Thessaloniki — Ufa — Thessaloniki, «Air Europe» (Spain), on the route Barcelona — Ufa — Barcelona, «Air Onyx» (Ukraine), on the route Simferopol — Ufa — Simferopol.
