«We will protect the Earth and water for our descendants» motor rally started in Bashkiria

On Wednesday, June 5, on the International Environment Day, a motor rally «We will protect the Earth and water for our descendants» started in Bashkortostan. Organizers of the ecological event are the Union of Women of Bashkortostan and the Public Chamber RB. The motor rally is devoted to the first constituent congress of the All-Russian People’s Front which will be held in Moscow on June 11-12.

Today participants of the rally will spend a cleanup of four unique springs, lakes and rivers in three regions of the republic. The first stop is at Blue Lake in Karmaskalinsky region. Then participants will clear a fall on the river Inzer at Abzanovo village in Arkhangelsky region and a spring in Kurgash village of the same region. Water from this spring is unique on its composition and mineral elements.

The Kulmas village of Beloretsky region will be the last object of today's motor rally. In total 15 cars will take part in the action decorated with bright slogans, for example, such «Less bottles, more beautiful lawns!».

The action was supported by representatives of public organisations, medical community of the republic, art workers. Representatives of municipalities joined the cleanup too. Schoolchildren and volunteers will help to accomplish the springs. It is supposed that the action on cleaning and accomplishment of rivers and lakes will proceed till the autumn.
