Bashkir companies supported «The Zero Negative Impact on Environment» action

The participation in the first All-Russia action coming on June 5 «The Zero Negative Impact on Environment» is announced now by more than 30 enterprises and organisations of Bashkortostan.

It should be mentioned that this scale action is dated for the World Environment Day annually marked on June 5. It will take place in all regions of Russia, from 9 till 11 o'clock local time. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia acted as an initiator of carrying out this unique event.

The action essence consists in a short-term voluntary suspension of work by enterprises making negative impact on environment, providing that such suspension is admissible by a technology cycle.

As Albina Shamsutdinova, the expert of the press-service the Ministry of Ecology RB informs, among companies which have already supported the action are JSC "Electroapparat", "Iskozh", "Nefaz", "Gidravlika", JSC «Synthez-Kauchuk», «Bashkir Soda Company», Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, enterprises of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, and also several heat power plants.

The exact number of enterprises-participants of the «The Zero Negative Impact on Environment» action will be known on June 6, after summarizing the results, the republican Ministry of Ecology reports.
