Penalties for infringement of hunting and fishery regulations have grown in Russia

In Russia penalties for infringement of hunting and fishing regulations are increased. Respective amendments are brought to the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. They come into force since May 19, 2013.
“Henceforth infringement of regulations of habitat protection or ways of fauna objects migration involves a notice making or imposing an administrative penalty. The sizes of penalties for citizens vary from two to five thousand rbl.; for officials — from five to ten thousand; for legal bodies — from 10 thousand to 15 thousand rbl.,” Nina Nikandrova, the press-secretary of the Ministry for Nature Management and Ecology of Bashkortostan explains.
For infringement of hunting regulations the administrative penalty is also provided. It constitutes from one to two thousand rbl. for citizens with confiscation of hunting weapons or without that, or deprivation of right to hunt for the term up to two years. For officials the penalty is provided from 10 to 15 thousand rbl. with confiscation of hunting weapons or without that.
Besides, punishment for infringement of regulations concerning catching water biological resources and other regulations concerning commercial and coastal fishery are toughened.
In this case the penalty for citizens is provided in the sum from two to five thousand rbl.; for officials — from 20 to 30 thousand rbl.; for legal bodies — from 100 thousand to 200 thousand rbl. with confiscation of a vessel and other fishing tackles or without that.
