Bashkir agricultural producers started crop tending

Agricultural producers of Bashkortostan started agricultural crop tending. Farmers of Aurgazinsky, Meleuzovsky and Sterlitamaksky regions were the first to start these works.

Today 23 regions of the republic are engaged in treatment of grain crops, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan informs.

At the moment chemical weeding of grain crops is spent on the area of 40 thousand hectares that makes three percent from the plan. Thus the highest rates are marked now in Sterlitamaksky region where crops are treated on the area of 9,4 thousand hectares (17 percent from plan).

Farmers of Birsky, Kugarchinsky, Meleuzovsky and Chishminsky regions carried out chemical weeding on more than 10 percent of the areas.
