Final city volunteer clean-up will be held in Ufa on May, 18

On May 18, a final city volunteer clean-up completing the spring month's campaign on sanitary cleaning and accomplishment of territories will take place in Ufa.

As the press-service of the capital administration informs, all organizational structures of the city, institutions of education, public health services, construction, industry and trade participated in the ecological month's campaign-2013. In total more than 525 thousand people participated in it that is by 26 percent more than in 2012.

16 thousand units of equipment were used in cleaning of territories (plus 18 percent to the level of the last year).

For this time it was taken out more than 105 thousand cubic metres of waste to the city landfill of solid household waste in Cherkassy that is by six percent more than the last year's indicators.

Districts of Ufa have already received 17,6 thousand various young plants. Work on their planting proceeds and to the present time. In total municipalities of the capital submitted applications for 24,7 thousand trees and bushes.
