«Aurgazy – Clean River» ecological action took place in Aurgazinsky region

The «Aurgazy — Clean River» ecological action takes place in Aurgazinsky region within the limits of the Year of Environment Protection. The action main task is to draw attention to protection of small rivers on the example of cleaning of Aurgazy riverside.

As the press-service of the Ministry of Ecology RB informs, the river Aurgazy is the main waterway of the region. It flows through 10 settlements. The total length of the river exceeds 49 kilometres.

Participants of the ecological event for today cleaned the riverside near Kshanny village, Staroabsalyamovo and Sultanmuratovo villages. Two non-authorised dumps of solid household waste located in the water protection zone are liquidated. 25 cubic metres of waste are taken out to landfills.
