Bashkiria farmers finish mulching

Farmers of Bashkiria finish a number of spring-field works. Mulching is made on 1 million 103 thousand hectares of republican fields that makes 97 percent. In 42 regions these works have been already finished, the press-service of agrarian department informs.

Simultaneously farmers conduct harrowing and feeding up of winter crops and permanent grasses. Thus, winter crops are harrowed by 94 percent, fed up by 84 percent of areas; permanent grasses are harrowed on the area of 542 thousand hectares (94 percent), fed up – on 117 thousand hectares (68 percent). 36 314 tons of mineral fertilizers are accumulated.
