Spring crops are sown at 11 percent of the planned areas in Bashkiria
For today in Bashkortostan it is sown 318 thousand hectares of spring crops that makes 16 percent from the planned area.
From them 260 thousand hectares are accounted for grain crops (21 percent from planned).
More than six thousand hectares are sown with sugar beet in the republic that makes 11 percent to the plan. Sugar beet sowing is conducted now in 10 republican regions.
Besides grain and industrial crops, 29 republican regions are occupied with sunflower sowing. More than 19,4 thousand hectares of areas are sown now with this oil plant at present (11 percent to the plan).
As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, spring sowing is conducted now in 52 regions. The exception is made only by Beloretsky and Burzjansky regions.
It should be mentioned that general area under crops will reach 3,2 million hectares in 2013. It is by 150 thousand hectares more than in 2012, including increase in grain crops by 10 thousand hectares.
In total it is planned to receive 3,2 — 3,4 million tons of grain in 2013 .
