Bashkiria is on the second place in Russia on milk production

In Bashkortostan it was made 330,2 thousand tons of milk in the first quarter 2013, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs. From them 120,9 thousand tons (96,3 percent to the level of 2012) are accounted for the share of agricultural enterprises, 186,7 thousand (100,1 percent in comparison with the last year's period) for personal subsidiary economies. The greatest growth of manufacture occurred in farms where it was received 22,5 thousand tons of milk that exceeds the last year's level by 25,3 percent.

The share of the produced Bashkir milk in the Russian Federation makes 5,3 percent, in Volga Federal District — 16,4 percent. Bashkortostan takes the second place on this indicator in the rating of the Russian Federation and Volga Federal District.
