National Bank of Bashkiria warns about activization of Internet swindlers

The National Bank of Bashkortostan Republic warns about activization of fraudulent structures which are claiming to be credit institutions.

As the press-service of the National Bank RB informs, swindlers create websites with names and design similar to names and design of official websites of banks.

In order not be taken in by swindlers, the National Bank of Bashkortostan Republic recommends to be make sure first of all, that the website really belongs to an official credit institution. The trustworthy information about names, licences, Internet addresses of real credit institutions is placed on the website of the Bank of Russia in the section «Information about Credit Institutions». Besides, the information about credit organisations working in Bashkortostan Republic, it is possible to receive by «a hot line» of the National Bank RB: (347) 279-65-00.

When using Internet-banking services of a specific bank you should enter the website by the checked up links, instead of through advertising banners and offers to follow the link in the e-mails.

In no event you should enter your personal data, data of your credit card on the unchecked websites. It is necessary to inform the National Bank of Bashkortostan Republic about any attempts of illegal writing-off of means from your account, non-authorised usage of bank names.
